We are excited to partner with the Finger Lakes Land Trust (FLLT) for a guided family hike and storytime at Lansing’s newest nature preserve, Bell Station. Described as a “spectacular site in Lansing that boasts 480 acres of wooded hillsides, extensive fields, and several small streams with cascading waterfalls”, Bell Station will play an important role in the ongoing protection of the Cayuga Watershed. Join us Saturday, July 30th at 11 am for a guided hike to learn about watershed protection and the geological history of this unique site. Bring a picnic and stay for an outdoor lunch and storytime with Rachel after the hike. The hike will be guided by Jason Gorman, Nature Preserve Manager with the FLLT. We think this will be a fun and informative family event- please join us!
