DESCRIPTION:\nPlease join us from 10:30 am – Noon as we explore the connections between poetry and visual art with a chance to create your own! Dive into interactive discussions of figurative language and poetic devices. Write your own poetry with accompanying artwork, and participate in a collective art display! This workshop offers children a unique opportunity to express themselves and share their creativity with others in a fun and hands-on way.\n\n\nMeet our workshop guest: Aidan Cobb, an educator at LCSD and a published poet from Connecticut. With experience leading children’s poetry workshops in both Connecticut and New York, he is passionate about employing fun, creative, and multidisciplinary approaches to inspire kids in their journey of creative writing and poetry.\n\n Collaborative Poetry and Art Workshop for 5th & 6th Graders\n Saturday, February 8, 2025\n 10:30 am – 12 noon\n  LCL Community Room\nRegister your 5th or 6th grader below.
