Join us at Lansing Community Library for The Art of Light, a hands-on art workshop and cultural presentation with local artist Annie Sheng!
Explore the beauty and traditions of Asian lantern festivals and learn how lanterns are used to celebrate, gather, and light up the night. Annie will share her original lantern-inspired artwork and talk about lantern festivals in Asia and closer to home.
Then get creative! Participants of all-ages will have the opportunity to paint their own Chinese paper lantern using acrylic paints and create a unique design to take home.
